GBK presented their luxurious Celebrity Gifting Lounge in honor of the 2017 Primetime EMMYS, and as always, Gavin Keilly provided another great opportunity for celebs to give back to three incredible charities while discovering new and unique brands from companies across the country and the world with this gifting and giving lounge.
EMMY Celebrity Gift Lounge sponsor Pilot Pen, the creator of America’s favorite pens, had their Modern Classics, including G2 gel ink pens and Vanishing Point pens – the world’s first retractable fountain pen with an 18-karat nib which were gifted to celebs, who were invited to pen inspirational messages. Pilot Pen offered them a $5,000 donation to their charity of choice.
Pilot Pen has also partnered with Shonda Rhimes to award the 2017 G2 Overachievers Grant & the first-ever G2 Overachievers Student Grant. To learn more: http://tinyurl.com/PilotEmmys
The three charities that participated in GBK’s ‘giving lounge’ included Animal Wellness Foundation, Face Forward and International Society of Human Unity. GBK’s giving lounges have connected celebrities and organizations, resulting in the stars presenting awards at the event or even lending their names and faces to PSAs
Face Forward and the Alessi Institute lovingly provides reconstructive surgery for victims of violence who carry the physical evidence of past abuse, such as disfigured faces, by working with community leaders and organizations around the nation and throughout the world to find them. www.faceforwardla.org
The tremendous effort of these angels from the non-profit organization International Society of Human Unity working to stop the brutality of human trafficking co-produced the multiple award-winning feature documentary “STOPPING TRAFFIC” which raises awareness about sex trafficking in the United States, Mexico, Asia and abroad, and gives specific calls to action on how everyone can join the movement…thanks to the beautiful people who donated 2 Indiegogo for the creation of this highly urgent film. www.stoppingtraffic.com
