The leader in extraordinary special events, GBK Productions hosted their annual exclusive gift suite to honor the nominees and presenters of the 2008 Academy Awards. GBK donated 20% of proceeds from the suite to three organizations including: The Writers’ Guild; Project Nightlight; Educating Young Minds and Leonardo DiCaprio’s Foundation, Global Green, all while celebrating Hollywood’s biggest event – the Oscars.

For some time, GBK has been focusing on Eco-friendly events, and so this year’s festivities centered around environmentally-friendly activities. Global Green USA is a national environmental organization addressing three of the greatest challenges facing humanity: stemming global climate change by creating green buildings and cities; eliminating weapons of mass destruction that threaten lives and the environment; and providing clean, safe drinking water for the 2.4 billion people who lack access to clean water.
Prior to arriving, the celebrities were picked up from Eco Nation Car Service in their luxury hybrids, and other environmentally friendly vehicles with wireless access and goodies. Vectrix Electric Bikes were also on hand giving out cool leases on their bikes.

Attendees gathered at Boulevard 3 on Sunset Boulevard and chose from a plethora of luxury products valued at over $50,000 while enjoying cocktails, food and spa services. Celebrities strolled around the courtyard outside and inside were in for a treat as they browsed through four floors of glamour and decadence.
At the entrance, celebrity hair stylist Hasblady Guzman (Bokaos.com) offered complimentary hair and salon treatments. The Aveda shop began the organic trend in hair care twenty-plus years ago. Using lotions infused with organic marshmallow roots and shampoos and conditioners with natural aromas.
Once inside, Robert Craymer’s Green Furniture (www.RobertCraymer.com) lended a comfortable place to relax in their Oscar lounge.
