An LA’s The Place Top Pick for 2010!
After being the leader in the Israel furniture scene for the past 50 years, The Aminach Group is bringing its signature style to California with the opening of its flagship showroom in Studio City. In particular, Aminach is bringing its chic, high quality line of sofabeds and beds called Sapapa®.

Sapapa is a “progressive design that integrates fresh looks with state of-the-art-technology for high-performing, high-end sleep solutions to suit your needs both day and night.”

“Los Angeles was the ideal place for us to open our signature shop and expand our U.S. presence,” said CEO and Managing Director Ron Schwartz, The Aminach Group. “U.S. bedding is boring and Aminach’s European design is fashion-forward and trendy, appealing for the trendsetting Los Angeles audience.”

One aspect of Aminach that helps it stand out is the interaction among the product and the customers that it allows. With the two collections “Classic” and “Extreme,” Aminach gives customers the chance to mix and match and choose whichever colors and materials coincide with their unique tastes and looks. More than 50 styles are available to choose from.

Sapapa also touts couches that easily change to beds with a special, “easy lift” mechanism, along with an “Up & Down” piece that gives users a chance to specialize the head and back area heights for the most comfort possible. In addition to those mechanisms, Aminach also boasts a “Health Center,” which serves the middle portion of the furniture piece to ensure that this area does not begin sinking, and this detail is also thanks to the “Physical Spring System,” part of the company’s ongoing and in-depth research for optimum sleep comfort.

In 1948, Moshe Schwartz and his wife Pessia founded a mom-and-pop shop that would eventually grow and expand into what Aminach is known for today. Through the years, the company has seen changes and additions while being passed through the generations, and now, “it owns and operates five independent production plants: mattress plant, wood furniture plant, metal furniture plant, foam-rubber plant and assembly and upholstery plant, each using state-of-the-art technology to produce the highest quality furniture and bedroom solutions,” according to the official press release.
