‘Seas’ the Day with South Bay’s modern Italian restaurant, Bettolino Kitchen’s New Summer Menu
In recent years, the South Bay culinary scene has boomed. A standout is Bettolino Kitchen, new modern Italian restaurant. Brother-and-sister team Vince Giuliano and Andreanna Liguore opened the restaurant with the help of Michelin-starred Italian chef Fabio Ugoletti, a master in the kitchen who delivers strong with homemade pastas and fresh takes on Italian classics.
Guests enjoy Bettolino’s atmosphere which is a cool, casual, upscale vibe without being pretentious. The star is the food. Fresh ingredients, handmade pasta, crostini and small appetizer plates are excellent.
New Summer Menu
Bettolino Kitchen is now serving their new seasonal menu, (including a dish that is back by popular demand). Carefully crafted to perfection, the modern Italian restaurant has created new seafood dishes for guests to order a delicious dinner near the sea.
Adding a fresh European palette while holding its Italian roots, the Polipo dish is a grilled Spanish octopus starter with cannellini beans, fresh basil, and cherry tomatoes tossed in lemon garlic sauce.
Simple, colorful, and nutritious, the Rainbow Caprese salad serves fresh mozzarella, rainbow beets, cherry tomatoes, basil, and basil oil drizzled on top.
The Tortelloni al Limone, a spinach and ricotta stuffed pasta with lemon butter sauce, Parmesan cheese, and fresh chives, is made from scratch daily (along with every pasta dish at Bettolino) and is not to be missed.
Back by popular demand is the succulent Lobster Risotto, made with cold water lobster tail, risotto, fresh asparagus, lobster sauce, and fresh herbs.
Saving the sweetest dish for last, the Cannoli Siciliano, originating from the southern tip of Italy’s boot, is made with their homemade cannoli shell, whipped mascarpone, roasted pistachio, orange mint sauce, and powdered sugar.
Bettolino’s new menu is perfect for a warm summer date night, located in the Riviera Village and walking distance from the beach. With a strong commitment to support local farmers and artisans, each dish will always taste fresh and delectable.
Warm and airy, the Redondo Beach location offers rustic, neighborhood charm. Long-time residents of the South Bay remember when Vince Giuliano and Andreanna Liguore’s great-grandparents opened Giuliano’s Deli, and their parents started Gaetano’s—both Italian stalwarts of the South Bay. The longtime tradition of outstanding authentic Italian continues with Bettolino Kitchen.
