LA’s The Place Interviews Sizzling Sensation Marianela

There is a lot of talent in the entertainment industry that come and go. But some, you just know, will blossom into superstars, and Marianela is one of them. Many know her as the beautiful Argentine co-host on MTV’s “Top Pop Group”, co-hosting with Mario Lopez. Currently seen on two TV network shows, Marianela has people buzzing. She is the host of VH1’s new show “Dance Cam Slam,” a weekly dance off for people to submit their best moves from the comfort of their own home via their web cams for a chance to win $5,000. Marianela also shows her sporty side as the face of ESPN’s “Road Trip” show, where she heads to best college football games in America to bring you a behind the scenes look at some of the biggest rivalries in all of college sports.  Here is our fun chat with Marianela, hosted by Jeff Gaskin. CNN made her a featured panelist on “Showbiz Tonight,” she has hosted a radio show on KLSX, played a principal role on the sitcom “Half & Half,” and been a popular VJ on the music channel FUSE TV, where she hosted “Daily Download: and interviewed the biggest names in the entertainment business: 50 Cent, Metallica, Eminem, The Cure, Usher, Beyonce, Jeremy Piven, Kanye West, Gwen Stefani, to name a few. Marianela has found herself parlaying her love and knowledge of sports into multiple gigs in addition to ESPN, such as FOX Sports, CBS Sports, and most recently into the so-called “late-night princess of poker” on NBC’S “Poker After Dark.”
