Rock For MSMS Friends, a 24-hour telephone helpline that’s devoted to helping people with Multiple Sclerosis, has introduced a Rock for MS Guitar Pick Necklace.

Launched in Bloomingdale’s as well as on their official website, the necklace will hopefully help to bring more awareness of this illness to the younger generation.

Josh Todd from “Buck Cherry,” DJ Paul from “Three 6 Mafia,” Catherine Oxenburg, Weezer, The Kings of Leon, NFL Superstar Dennis Smith, Andy Dick and Matt Sorum from “Velvet Revolver” are only a few of the musicians, celebrities and rock & roll photographers wearing the necklace in hopes of getting the message out that those with MS are not alone.

While the average age of diagnosis for MS is 30, people can be diagnosed even in their teens. It’s for this very reason that MSFriends felt it’s important to reach out to the younger population and grab their attention in a fun, hip and attractive way to grab their attention.

MSFriends for a Limited Edition is a Rock for MS Necklace that will feature a celebrity’s signature or likeness. Their newest product, the guitar pick necklace is Sterling Silver and will be distributed in upscale department stores, chic boutiques and also available online.

100% of the proceeds for the necklace will benefit The VisionWorks Foundation, Inc./MSFriends, whose initiative is a grant and donor-supported non-profit to offer a 24-hour helpline (the first of its kind) that can link people to assistance, information and education about the disease. Anyone in need of help can be connected with other individuals who have learned to live and even thrive with the disease.
