Dimension One Spas for all Your Home Spa & Hot Tub Needs

Cash for your car

On a recent trip to San Diego, I was privy to a private back of house tour of Dimension One Spas. I have to admit I didn’t have all that much interest in the home spa, what is otherwise known as a hot tub. I am always happy when one comes my way, but I rarely go in search of one. To me a hot tub typically, is a small in-ground, dipping pool at the end of a swimming pool. There are some jazzy jets that come at you in a swirling seductive, hot soothing manner. It is incredibly relaxing, sometimes titillating, provided the company is pleasing or nonexistent and something that I tend to dip in to when given the chance.

IDimension One Spa did have the pleasure of an at-home above ground hot tub way back in the day in a big house that I had rented a room in LA. It was great way to end a chaotic LA day, to slip in for a quiet, warm dip on my own. I would take a glass of wine, look up and count my lucky urban stars.  But I can’t say I have ever given the hot tub much thought. To me it’s like the waterbed, a random flash back of the 80’s…or so I thought.

But this was not your average hot tub, nor your average company. Dimension One recently celebrated thirty years in the business, a company started by Bob and Linda Hallam. In 2004 Bob was recognized by Ernst and Young who named him Entrepreneur of the Year for his innovations of hydronomics design based on the human anatomy, ergonomics, acupressure, reflexology and fluid mechanics inclusive of a wireless hot tub stereo system, chair massager, clean energy systems and more.

We were told a tour would be in order, followed by a trial, a la a dip in their tubs, which meant a public display of flesh and bathing suits in front of their company’s suits. This was not at all relaxing, nor titillating to me. I didn’t care how hot their water was, it was going to take a lot more than that to relax me.

Right out of the gate, the Dimension One team, which appeared to be mainly men, was incredibly impressive. This group of guys was truly committed to designing and marketing for and with women in mind from aesthetics and athletics to the pure pleasure principle; it was all about the ladies.

After an interesting tour of the factory where the make up of the tub resembled the human heart, we were on our way to try out the tubs. I was with a group of gals, some more willing than others to bare their bikini bods. All in all, there was an awkward vibe in the air. Like a group of schoolgirls, there was some giggling involved as we entered the room. Once in to the candle lit showroom, every one was truly, madly deeply relaxed. These guys really walk the talk. They totally got it.

After a pitch perfect, deliciously light lunch, we were off. Each gal was given her own cozy, plush Dimension One robe, and a silky blue towel, the perfect pair to wrap us in, in between tubs.
Most of the tubs seat six, some as many as seven and others as intimate as two. This is not your old school water bench where one size and pleasure palette fits all. Each seat is designed with you in mind where you can adjust all, from your head rest, to your seat, to the many massage valves altering the speed, tension and direction to your own individual liking for you, and your seat only.
What I loved is that it is an individual seat or capsule where you are literally cupped and cradled in to position, in your seat, versus floating inappropriately in to your neighbor who more often than not is your neighbor. Once in position, with the Neckflex fully supporting your head, then the fun, games and relaxation really begins. So much so, I felt I should have introduced myself to a valve after I sat in one of the seats. Oh my!
It is truly targeted for a woman’s pleasure. We were told that this particular tub is the world’s largest sex toy. It’s, the surrogate husband, often used by women who’s husbands are at war, both in Iraq and on the financial front, on the road and away from home.  Many military wives have found patriotic pleasure in these domestically made Dimension One Spas.
But fear not fellas, as you are not completely left out of the Aqua equation. It’s similar to a couple buying a house. Yes, it is a joint decision and something that both of you will both enjoy and clearly have a say in, but in the end, the style, décor and perks are typically driven by the ladies needs and sensibilities. You may have chosen the flat screen, but she chose the paint to put on the wall it is mounted on and the couch that you will ride while driving your clicker. Same idea goes with the spa. Ladies first.
But once in, you there’s plenty of ways to flex your manliness and those tech sexy muscles. You can listen to music played on our home stereo via an airless link as far away as 100 feet or you can link to your MP3 players, For the romantic, there’s mood-enhancing lighting and fountain options and let’s face it, you can always swivel the flat screen to turn spa-side. That’s a big win!
After three trail tub runs, I was so relaxed. I actually thought I looked cute in my suit. Last stop on the aquatic trail was their Spa Aquatic Exercise Machine. Between the joy found in the pool and the smoking hot Brazilian instructor leading the aquatic way, there was quite the queue to get in on the action.
Once in, it was pure bliss, as exercise should be. You could run or row in place, swim against the tide which was so fun it actually mad me laugh underwater. Last, you can strength train or stretch, all good for whatever your ailment or need, from total wellness benefits to arthritis, diabetes, weight loss and back pain. This like the spa can be targeted in whatever health direction you need, including the direction of sleeplessness and depression.
If you want to kick back and count your lucky backyard stars, give Dimension One a call or pop on to their website as their monthly payments plans are wildly affordable The home spa, hot tubs, range anywhere from $5,000 to $18,000 and the Aquatic Fitness Products range from $29,000 to $39,000. Hot execs not included.

  • I dont think there is anything like having a spa inside your own home. Creating the atmosphere can be done quiet economically accomplished with the right approach.

Hot Tubs and Spas are great for a group or just a relaxing, intimate evening with your mate. Enjoy Life, Enjoy Being!
