Redondo Beach Lobster Festival: September 21st-23rd

lobster_festivalThe Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Bureau bring you the 12th annual Redondo Beach Festival. Kicking off September 21st, the festival features three days of live music, dancing, family fun activities as well as delectable food, namely fresh Maine Lobsters cooked by Bristol Farms in the World’s Largest Lobster Steamer after being flown in nightly direct from the Atlantic Ocean.

Beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, events include music by James Intveld and Big Sandy & his Fly-Rite Boys.

Saturday’s events which begin at noon feature music by Heart Brigade (a Heart tribute band), The Chris Anderson Group, Motown Soul Review, HUSH featuring Eddie Estudillo and The New Breed Band.

Sunday, also beginning at noon, you can enjoy music by Surf City Allstars, Kate Russell, LA Hip Kids and Orquesta Charangoa.

The festival will take place September 21st-23rd at the Seaside Lagoon, 200 Portofino Way in Redondo Beach.

General admission to the festival is $10. $25 with the online presale, however, will buy you the Guaranteed Lobster Package, which includes a 1.25 lb. lobster dinner, a Festival T-shirt as well as admission to the festival. And for $50 with the online presale, you can have the “Big Louie” (Guaranteed Lobster Package) which will include a 2.25 lobster dinner, a Festival T-shirt as well as admission into the festival.

Presale tickets end on midnight PST on September 19th and will save you $15 over prices at the gate.
