Meet the Chefs

RA doesn’t just claim to have the best authentic Japanese cuisine, they prove it. A native of Japan, Executive Chef Tai Obata spent 26 years honing his craft and culinary skills under the most respected sushi chefs in Japan, New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Los Angeles.? Arriving in Las Vegas, Obata has created signature dishes inspired by flavors of the Pacific-Rim. Head Sushi Chef Moon Kim has been with RA Las Vegas since it’s inception in 2004.? Originally from Korea, this UNLV grad thrives on the energy RA provides while preparing sushi at his bar.

Starters, Sushi and Entrees

With a full menu, RA is the perfect place to fill up before a night out on the Strip.? With prices that are sure to please and surprise, guests can belly up to the ever-popular sushi bar or start off with Salmon Wontons, Blue Claw Crab Cakes or Lobster Spring Rolls. With the kitchen open until midnight, diners can fill up on the variety of seafood, steak, chicken and noodle dishes or try RA’s signature sushi offerings such as their Yellow Monkey Roll or Viva Las Vegas Roll which is filled with cream cheese, rolled in rice and seaweed, lightly battered, topped with spicy tuna, crab mix and sliced lotus root and finished with eel sauce and spinach tempura flakes.
