A long red carpet filled with gorgeous celebrities. Searchlights and camera crews gathered around. Fans adorning the streets, trying to get a glimpse of their favorite stars strutting down the red carpet. When you think of a film premiere, you normally imagine it being in New York City or Los Angeles, but times might be changing ever so slightly as Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino kicks off its transformation by hosting the first of what they hope will be many film premieres. Resident Evil: Extinction starring Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Ashanti, Oded Fehr and Mike Epps will premier at Planet Hollywood on September 20th with the nationwide release to follow on the 21st.

Though the Resort and Casino has already revealed a new look to the public, additional renovations will continue to unveil through November 16 and 17th when they host an official celebrity-filled, weekend-long grand opening celebration throughout the property. 

To feel like a star yourself, Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino houses the award winning Planet Hollywood Spa by Mandara, offering everything from the typical facials and massages to custom spray tanning and teeth whitening to exotic or more traditional, sought-after therapies. New chic restaurants and lounges you can expect to see on the property include, Privé, which might be one to check out if you’re interested in the cool Miami vibe or the Extra Lounge if you’re a fan of the celebrity-based news show by the same name. This new lounge will be the Las Vegas base for the TV show, where correspondents and crew can be seen mixing with the crowd or interviewing celebrities.

Celebrity-filled Los Angeles hotspot Koi will also have a new home at Planet Hollywood, offering Japanese cuisine with California accents, as well as one of “America’s Greatest Steakhouses,” Strip House.

The newly opened, 1,500 seat showroom features STOMP OUT LOUD, based on the international sensation, STOMP, but with additional sequences that were created specifically for the showroom.
