This October, your favorite horror flick becomes reality as Halloween Horror Nights comes to Universal Studios Hollywood. For the first time ever, the legendary theme park has transformed its famous backlot into a haunted house of epic proportions.
Don’t try to run because there’s nowhere to hide as the entire park will become one of L.A.?s most terrifying experiences. The scare fest features your favorite Halloween haunts…but with a twist that only a legendary movie studio could provide. Presided by the creepy “Director”, a sociopath filmmaker with a fondness for gore, you?ll find yourself in the middle of a living horror film. Terrifying encounters abound with haunted walk-through attractions, roaming scare-actors, nightmare-inducing rides, shows and attractions, plus unforgettable live music and high-energy dance performances by ?The Mutaytor.? Several park attractions will transform from your favorite rides into your worst nightmares. The famous Studio Tour will turn into the Terror Tram: The Director’s Cut. Fear Factor will also be on hand for your scaring-pleasure with their live show, Fear Factor Live: Dead Celebrity Edition.
Don’t wander too far because The Director is loose and looking to cast his next film?and you just might be chosen as his next star. Each night at Halloween Horror Nights, the Director will be scouting for fresh talent for his films. What is he looking for? A blood-curling scream. Video clips of the two best screamers the Director finds each night will be showcased on the Halloween Horror Nights website, with the public voting on the winner. The screamer with most votes after seven days will win an all-new 1GB Apple? iPod? shuffle.
