Model Turned Professional Makeup Artist Launches Christopher Drummond Beauty at Beverly Wilshire
Christopher Drummond has created a new cosmetic line for The Spa at Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, named Christopher Drummond Beauty. The professional makeup artist formed the makeup line in response to many others that are filled with toxins like bismuth oxycholoride, zinc oxide and titanium dioxide.
Drummond’s new line does not contain any negative or hurtful materials and is considered all-natural, vegan and organic-based as well as hypo-allergenic.
“We are truly excited about the launch at the Beverly Wilshire,” Drummond said in a statement referring to the line’s March 3 pre-Oscar party debut. ‘As the luxury brand of natural makeup, it is only fitting that we will now be incorporated into one of the world’s most famous luxury hotels and spas.”
Before stepping over into the makeup artist industry, Drummond was a model, so he knew the harmful effects of a poorly designed cosmetic to those that wear it. Also, he wanted a kind of makeup that fit many ethnic skin tones, and the Christopher Drummond Beauty line does just that.
His line takes out the toxins that hurt skin or create acne and keeps in those that make healthy and rejuvenated flesh. To create the products, Drummond researched various ingredients and spent time with the experts in the industry.
“I believe that knowledge is power and we have the option to educate and empower ourselves. Being a part of the Beverly Wilshire is completely in line with our message, because spa employees have the power to educate their customers about what they are putting on their skin,” says Drummond. “Every choice we make, from the food we eat, to the cosmetics we use sends a message about us, and people need to be sure that the messages they send are the ones that really reflect how they feel about themselves, their health and their world.”
