Rock Your Religion Teams Up With Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough to Conquer Lupus
The Howie Pendant -a Rock Your Religion piece - was designed to be worn with the cornerstones of Rock Your Religion as well as the principles of the Dorough Lupus Foundation. Those cornerstones include courage, strength, hope and love.
Rock Your Religion’s signature Chi Rho Symbol - representing the Greek phrase En Touto Nika, “In This Sign You Will Conquer”- adorns one side of the pendant, while Howie’s own signature is etched on the opposite side, symbolizing how strongly he believes in the powerful phrase.

The Dorough Lupus Foundation:
This foundation was established in memory of Howie’s sister, Caroline Dorough, who lost her life to the disease. Howie and his family are now dedicated to conquering Lupus through this foundation, by being the most compassionate and prominent Lupus advocacy group around the world. They aim to make a difference by aiding and supporting individuals and families affected by Lupus.
By creating this foundation, they have hoped to create a financial avenue for charitable “donors” to send in contributions that will be allocated to both organizations and individuals dedicated to the research, treatment and public education of Lupus.
"It is our Foundation’s goal to educate the public about Lupus," says Howie Dorough. "The message of the Rock Your Religion Chi Rho symbol truly supports our mission, and I know that sales will not only raise awareness, but also contribute to this cause which is so close to my heart."
