Joss Stone Releases New Christmas Single
Grammy nominee and multi-platinum singer Joss Stone gets in the Christmas spirit, releasing the singe, “All I Want For Christmas,” a song she recorded in the middle of her big European tour last month.
Written and produced by Dan Mackenzie, the song came about a year ago when the Emmy nominated songwriter had been commissioned to write a Christmas tune for a special holiday fundraiser. ASCAP’s Sue Devine, who works in the Film/TV Department was immediately impressed with “All I Want For Christmas” and soon after pitched the song for Holiday placement.
“All I Want For Christmas” will be available on iTunes on December 18th, though Virgin though the song is currently available to stream at www.myspace.com/jossstone and has already been released to radio by Virgin Records.
