Celebrating Turning 21 Las Vegas Style

Most people don’t remember celebrating their 21st Birthday. I, on the other hand, will never forget celebrating my 21st Birthday Las Vegas Style. Right out of class and off on winter break, I packed up my car with three of my best girlfriends, leaving Los Angeles in search for the Hottest night clubs in Las Vegas. As we drove over the hill, in awe of the effervescent glow of the Las Vegas strip, I knew that my twenty-first birthday was going to be one I will never forget!

Las Vegas is known for its outrageous night life, but with so many places to go, how does one know which is the best? I was able to visit many of the award winning clubs to find out which one was the most worthy of hosting the ultimate twenty-first birthday party. After a weekend of extensive review I discovered that Tabu, Studio 54 and Pure with the Pussycats Doll Lounge were among the most elite night clubs in Las Vegas.

The stakes in Las Vegas nightlife went up on New Years Eve of 2004 when PURE, two stories of nightlife indulgence at Caesars Palace, opened its doors on the Las Vegas Strip. With an unparalleled view of the Las Vegas Strip, PURE symbolizes a new standard in Las Vegas nightlife. With three distinct experiences, including the Pussycat Lounge, enveloped in two stories of decadence, PURE is three venues in one, each featuring its own DJ, sound systems and sexy style. The private, elegant sophistication of Tabu, with an elongated bar and changing light display and vivid imagery create the ambiance of a VIP nightlife experience the Las Vegas is known for. Tabu is an excellent way to start the night and one can easily continue the celebration with a short walk to the second floor of the MGM where Studio 54 is located. The original Studio 54 opened its doors in New York City on April 26, 1977 and became an overnight sensation that lasted for the next 33 months. Studio 54 established itself as a place for the famous to mingle with the unknown, the wealthy to socialize with the modest, and the eccentric to associate with the conservative. The club that redefined the New York nightclub scene in the 1970’s is setting the standard in the ever-expanding Las Vegas nightclub scene of the new century. Read my article on Tabu here.
