Wolfgang Puck’s firm ties to California cuisine and Hollywood’s star-studded celebrity events would be enough for most chefs, but with Postrio, Puck and company show once again that they aren’t happy resting on past glories. Diners have been enjoying Postrio’s fine offerings in San Francisco for years, but visitors to the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino in Las Vegas can now feast on gourmet delicacies at the acclaimed restaurant’s desert outpost, headed by Executive Chef John LaGrone.

Postrio in San Francisco made its reputation on fresh, local ingredients prepared in surprising and delicious combinations. The same commitment applies in Las Vegas, where Chef LaGrone has crafted a menu featuring contemporary American cuisine with Asian and European inflections. But you don’t have to take our word for it. Instead, you’ll taste it as soon as you dig in.

Meanwhile, their eyes can feast on the room’s jewel tones and Venetian design elements. Casual diners can take a seat on the spirited patio on St. Mark’s Square and dine on Postrio’s slate of appetizers, pastas, and entrees, including Wolfgang Puck’s trademark pizzas and the signature lobster club sandwich.

Whichever dining experience you choose, Postrio has a wine to complement your meal. Boasting fair prices, the restaurant’s distinctive wine list has been lauded for its international reach, spotlighting some of the world’s greatest wineries, estates, and domains.

Heading up this dynamic kitchen is Executive Chef and Associate Partner John LaGrone. In addition to his extensive experience in Wolfgang Puck’s kitchen, stretching back to Postrio in San Francisco, where LaGrone procured a position while still a student at the California Culinary Academy. LaGrone further earned his stripes at Puck properties Spago and Chinois before opening Postrio Las Vegas. But LaGrone’s passion for food predates the rave reviews; thanks to his childhood on a farm in Northern California and his mother’s influence, 2097588_Postrio_Las_Vegas.jpgLaGrone was cooking and preparing food at an early age. Chef LaGrone’s long-burning passion is alive and well in Las Vegas.

Under LaGrone’s oversight, Postrio Las Vegas has claimed a roster of awards and honors, including a James Beard Award from the James Beard Foundation. National Public Radio named Postrio as the best restaurant in Las Vegas, and Las Vegas magazine bestowed the title of Best Dessert. Hotels magazine said Postrio was no less than one of the 10 best restaurants in the world.
