There are fashion previews, and then there are moments that feel like a window into how people actually live in clothes. GUESS leaned into the latter with a private Spring 2026 preview in Newport Beach, inviting a tightly curated group of Orange County-based media, influencers, socialites and notable names, inside a setting that felt more like a polished afternoon with friends than a formal brand event.

Chelsea Freeman hosted the GUESS Spring 2026 Collection Preview
On April 15, the global lifestyle brand gathered guests at Viamara restaurant inside the Pendry Hotel, where Chelsea Freeman hosted an intimate luncheon that doubled as a first look at the season ahead. A key style and lifestyle opinion leader, and the wife of Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman and nine-time All-Star Freddie Freeman, she set the tone in a cerulean blue viscose ruffled dress paired with kitten heels, both from the Spring 2026 collection. It was effortless, pulled together, and exactly in line with where GUESS is heading.

The preview centered around what the brand called the “Chelsea Edit,” a selection of standout pieces from both GUESS and MARCIANO by GUESS, all hand-selected by Freeman. The edit reflected her personal rhythm, balancing motherhood, business, and everyday movement, with pieces designed to integrate seamlessly into a full schedule without losing their edge.
Around the table, the mix of guests mirrored that same balance of polish and ease. Orange County-based media, influencers, and social regulars moved through the space alongside familiar faces like Selling Sunset’s Heather El Moussa and The Bachelor’s Amanda Stanton. Nothing about it felt staged. Conversations carried, people lingered, and the energy stayed relaxed, more like a well-hosted lunch than a presentation built for show.

Then there was the moment that pulled everyone in visually. At the center of the room sat a custom 60-pound edible butter sculpture shaped like the GUESS “IT” bag, the Camden. It anchored a charcuterie grazing table and brought a slightly unexpected, design-forward edge to the afternoon. It also quietly reinforced the Camden as a standout accessory in the Spring 2026 collection without having to overstate it.
The event marked a confident introduction to the new season and underscored GUESS’ continued focus on modern, effortless style that actually fits into real life.
For those who want to explore the collection beyond the preview, GUESS continues to expand its global footprint across apparel, denim, handbags, watches, eyewear, footwear, and more. The brand distributes through its own retail locations as well as department and specialty stores worldwide, while also operating and marketing rag & bone. As of November 1, 2025, GUESS directly operated 1,058 retail stores across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, with partners and distributors operating an additional 507 locations, spanning approximately 100 countries.
