During our recent visit to Las Vegas, we were thrilled to see that one of our favorite restaurants in Beverly Hills, Ocean Prime, had just opened in the heart of the Las Vegas strip. It was a nice surprise to see a giant marquee announcing the arrival of Ocean Prime in fabulous Las Vegas. Vegas just got better!

My friends always ask me for recommendations on where they should eat when in Las Vegas, and I’ve always have to contemplate that one. But no longer! Situated four stories overlooking the iconic Las Vegas Strip is Ocean Prime. Ocean Prime delivers everything you want in restaurant when you come to Vegas. You’ll have an enchanting experience with grand settings, a mouth-watering chef-curated menu, Vegas-style signature handcrafted cocktails, and a Wine Spectator-honored wine list.


The menu is both classic, with dishes you’ve always loved, but elevated, and modern chef-driven cuisine. Order an array of hand-rolled sushi and nigiri along with Hamachi Crudo and Tuna Tartar, indulgent seafood presentations like the wildly popular “smoking shellfish tower,” fresh seafood flown in daily, juicy, mouthwatering steaks, decadent side dishes and even made-from-scratch desserts.

The Ambiance

With a staggering investment of nearly $20 million, Ocean Prime Las Vegas is vast and spans a sprawling 14,500 square feet, situated in the multi-level retail and hospitality complex, 63. It features a magnificent rooftop terrace curving around almost 2,500 square feet. With a seating capacity of more than 420 in the dining room, Ocean Prime offers a variety of seating options. Guests can enjoy their meals at well-spaced-out tables, cozy alcoves, or gather around sandstone-upholstered banquettes arranged in graceful clusters. There is also three private dining rooms. Choose to relax before or after dinner in three lavishly decorated bars.

Designer Karen Herold, Principal of Studio K, has skillfully curated the ambiance at Ocean Prime Las Vegas, drawing inspiration from the enchanting convergence of land and sea. The lounge area is adorned with gentle wave elements and a soothing color palette reminiscent of the ocean. In the main dining room, earthy tones seamlessly blend with deep, dark blue shades, creating a visually striking environment. Karen Herold’s attention to detail shines through, offering guests a captivating and visually pleasing dining experience at Ocean Prime Las Vegas.  Even the ladies restroom is decorated lavishly!

The curve of the main bar is throughout one side of the dining room with a view of the terrace (seats 105). As the terrace is the perfect POV to watch the upcoming Formula 1 Grand Prix race, the restaurant has been bought out for F1 weekend for an unidentified amount in the millions.

Ocean Prime is open for lunch on weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner is from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
