Pool Filtration System
The pool filtration system is made up of two components that perform vastly different functions: the pump and the filter. A pool pump uses a part known as an impeller to create a vacuum that helps carry water from the suction system. Pool Pressure System
Once water suctions into the filtration center and becomes clean, it’s time to circulate the water back into the pool – that’s where a pool pressure system becomes useful. This system, comprised of return lines and return jets, completes the filtration process.
Return lines are opposite suction lines and are typically made of PVC. Return jets utilize pressure to push the water from the return line into the pool. Additionally, return jets help move water within a pool to maintain cleaner water conditions.
