Is your bathroom counter cluttered with too many skincare products? We know how important having a skincare routine is. But that doesn’t mean you have to purchase every skincare product on the shelf. In fact, in the case of a quality skincare routine, less really is more.

Atolla has reinvented the skincare model so that anyone can feel confident in their skin with quality products that can dramatically lessen the number of products you need.

Your skin is unique and has its own special set of solutions that is determined by your skincare goal. It is all about quality over quantity when it comes to skincare products, and using a surplus amount of them won’t necessarily benefit your skin or get you closer to your skin goals.

The trick to having great skin and accomplishing these goals is to find products that answer your individual needs. In fact, with Atolla, you can build a personalized skincare program that consists of three steps designed specifically to evolve with you, no matter what chapter of your life you are entering.

So how does it work exactly?  Here are the simple steps to your custom skincare routine.

Take the Skin Assessment in Three Steps

Before you create your custom skincare routine, you’ll set up your skin profile by taking your skin assessment in these three easy steps.

  1. Tell Them About Your Skin History

The first step is to assess your skin. Doing so will allow your current skin care needs to be understood. Your skin assessment is straightforward and can easily be done at home. You will be given a pH test strip, liquid, and an instruction card to complete the assessment and check-in with where your skin’s needs are currently at. If you have very dry skin, you will be given assessments and products based on your skin type. The better you are able to evaluate your exact skin type, the better will be the results when you get skin care products.

  1. Set Your Skin Goals and Concerns

Once you’ve done this assessment, you will then decide what your skin goals are. Some common ones include having calm skin, clear skin, even-toned skin, hydrated skin, glowing skin, refined pores, or smooth textured skin. Whatever your skin goals and concerns are, a plan with the appropriate products can be formulated for you.

  1. Evaluate Your Lifestyle and Health

There are a lot of factors that go into your skin. That is why it is also important to disclose any allergies or medication you take, along with your lifestyle habits. This information will be able to help guide you towards getting skincare products that are best suited for you individually!

Simplify Your Skincare Routine

Once your profile is created and your custom formulations are revealed, it is now time to really start the journey towards achieving your skin goals! The beauty of having personalized skincare products is that you will now be able to enjoy a simple routine designed for your skin that is high quality, sustainable and transparent. In fact, you will likely only be using three different products—serum, cleanser, and moisturizer!  Be a creature of routine and find time to use your products twice per day and if you have any questions, you can always get in touch with Atolla’s in-house esthetician for personal tips or advice.

Keep Reviewing and Adapting

The key to really understanding if your skincare routine is still working is by being consistent with your usage of the products. Having just three skincare products makes it super simple to accomplish. your skin will eventually evolve as the rest of your body does too. It is always recommended to take the at-home skin re-assessment before placing your next order, as this will empower you to feel confident that you are using the most effective ingredients for your current skin needs. Doing this will also immensely shrink the number of products on your countertop, and you won’t be having to buy new products every time a new concern pops up.

Caring for our skin is an ongoing journey. By minimizing the number of skincare products you use to just three or so quality ones that are vegan, cruelty-free, and fragrance-free, you will be able to live your best skin and enjoy a de-cluttered countertop in your bathroom!
