It has three different types:
- Chevy 100,000 mile/5-year
- Covered For 3 Years/36,000 Miles*
- Covered For 6 Years/100,000 Miles
Important point:
The point to be noted here is: the powertrain warranty warrants the chevy models of 2007- 2011, which are either a Chevrolet passenger car, a light-duty truck, a crossover, or a van.
What Sort of Repairs Do They Warrant?
There are a number of required defects that are covered under the powertrain warranty covers, and those are as follow;
Engine:
The following parts are powertrain made, and thus they are warranted:
- Cylinder head
- Block
- timing gears
- timing chain
- timing cover
- oil pump/oil pump housing
- OHC carriers valve covers
- oil pan, seals, and gaskets
- Turbocharger and supercharger
- All internally lubricated parts such as the manifolds, the flywheel, harmonic balancer, engine mount, and the water pump.

What is Not Included
The above-mentioned services will not be provided if the owner has not maintained the car or used low-quality oil, had an accident and had an insufficient inquiry.
