Rebecca took fans behind the scenes and conducted exclusive red carpet interviews with celebrity guests as they discussed their passion for protecting the planet and restoring the Amazon.

“We are so proud and honored to have been involved in PUBG Mobile’s #Fight4TheAmazon campaign,” said Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green. “Nothing is more important to us than protecting the planet from the potential devastation of climate change. The Amazon is a critical component of that, so this was a great opportunity for us to help make a positive impact for our kids and future generations. And while this is just the beginning and there is so much work left to be done, we know that when we all come together, we can make a huge difference.”

Tencent Games is the developer and publisher of PUBG Mobile. The company is dedicated to connecting people to build a brighter future and is proud of its work to raise awareness and critical funds for the Amazon, one of the planet’s most important ecosystems.

PUBG Mobile’s donation enables Global Green to plant at least 50,000 trees in the Amazon to help restore this critical bio-diverse environment. By working with The Brazilian Ministry of the Environment, Global Green can obtain access to areas of the Amazon rainforest with an urgent need for new growth. And in Bolivia, Global Green’s office is building a scientific resource center to help raise healthy trees that are local to the environment. This will help repopulate the rainforest at a much faster rate. Additionally, the #Fight4TheAmazon campaign will hire indigenous farmers to plant the trees. This will provide them with the financial support that allows them to remain on their land and boost the native people and the local economy.

“We want to thank all of our amazing fans who helped make the #Fight4TheAmazon campaign a success,” said Vincent Wang, General Manager of Global Publishing Department at Tencent Games. “We also want to thank Global Green, a best in class environmental non-profit that deserves all the support we can give, along with our wonderful campaign hosts, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green, who have gone above and beyond to raise awareness and funds for the cause.”

“Global Green is grateful to PUBG Mobile and Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green for helping us shine a spotlight on the urgent crisis in the Amazon. Funds raised from the #Fight4TheAmazon campaign will help our team restore the Amazon. In 2020, we will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, which is a reminder that the world needs to come together for the future of our planet. The #Fight4TheAmazon campaign is a great first step in that direction,” said William Bridge, COO of Global Green.
