Right in the heart of K-town, situated conveniently between Hollywood and DTLA is a very popular Korean/Italian-fusion restaurant Concerto, known for its distinctive culinary style and serving contemporary Italian dishes that collide with rich flavors that will keep you coming back for more.

The great dining environment that exudes a hip downtown vibe is exceeded only by he food at the restaurant, which is the star attraction. It’s Italian cuisine with Korean flair, with unique, creative dishes such as Korean Street Toast, Lobster Pasta, Kimchi Carbonara, Concerto Beef Fried Rice, Truffle Pizza, Uni Pasta, Sweet Pumpkin Salad, just to name a few. At Concerto, they only use the finest meats and the freshest organic produce in their culinary creations

This cool space features several different options for dining and cocktails. A fun outdoor deck that extends off the bar area makes for a great atmosphere for brunches. The bar features daily happy hour.

On the same property is indoor casual dining on two levels. Upstairs you’ll find an impeccably-decorated, more intimate indoor space for lunches and dinners.

It has a great atmosphere that is cozy,  comfortable yet upscale at the same time. There were tables celebrating birthdays, girls get-togethers, family dinners. Everyone was relaxed and happy. In Los Angeles there are so many choices and it’s always great to have a go-to restaurant that works anytime– appropriate for any occasion, whether it’s an intimate dinner date or special occasion celebrated with friends or family.

Concerto has been serving Italian Fusion cuisine in the middle of K-town since 2012. It’s very popular to surrounding residence as it has a friendly, neighborhood atmosphere.

The restaurant is also well-known for its amazing pastries and Macaroons. Chris Lee, the owner, shared with me that he was a coffee farmer for over 15 years on the big island of Kona, producing coffee, which he now serves his customers this special gourmet coffee.

“Coffee Hunter” Chris Lee takes great pleasure providing an outstanding dining experience for his customers. Beautiful desserts and macaroons makes for a special treat at the end of a memorable meal. The Tiramasu Cake is one of our favorite Top Ten desserts that we’ve ever had in Los Angeles!

The venue at Concerto is the perfect space for small happy hour gatherings, or large corporate events. Booking a private party will also allow you to secure a reserved seat at Concerto. Pre-booked bar packages start at $250 per hour. You can pre-order (family style) food packages or opt to allow your guests to order and pay for food themselves.
