One of TV’s hottest reality show brands kicked off its foray into the world of mobile games with a star-packed party that was fit for a diva. Tyra Banks, celebrated TV host and creator of America’s Next Top Model, along with Ace and King Productions, toasted the release of the new America’s Next Top Model Mobile Game. The glamorous event was held at the historic Avalon Hollywood. Attendees, including stars of film, television, fashion, and sports, got an exclusive look at the new game during an unforgettable night of fun, food, and, of course, fashion.
When it came time for Tyra to take the stage, she shared some of the revolutionary features of the ANTM Mobile Game. The game promotes LGBTQ inclusivity through its character customization options. Players can choose from “he” “she” or “they”. A variety of body types and facial characteristics are also available to gamers. This allows players to create a character that defies preconceived notions of what beauty and fashion are all about.
The America’s Next Top Model Mobile Game provides fans of Tyra and the show with a chance to discover their own style and experience the excitement of the world of high fashion on their way to becoming America’s Next Top Model. Groundbreaking media company Ace & King Productions developed the ANTM Mobile Game. This new venture is the brainchild of respected Jamie Gold and David Ortiz. Gold is entertainment industry veteran and 2006 World Series of Poker champion. Ortiz made a name for himself as a game designer and producer with EA SPORTS and Microsoft.
Star power was in ample supply as many of Tyra’s celebrity friends turned out to support her. Among the attendees were Carrie Ann Inaba, Diane Farr, Meagan Tandy, Kimberly Caldwell-Harvey, Jordan Harvey, Clinton Sparks, Keith Robinson, Jai Rodriguez, Coley Mustafa Speaks, Amanda Grace Benitez and Gracie Phillips. Representing the “America’s Next Top Model” family were Executive Producer Ken Mok and Director X.
No ANTM party would be complete without an opportunity to look gorgeous on the red carpet and the runway. While guests stepped on a real red carpet the runway was virtual. The runway was part of the fun of the America’s Next Top Model Mobile Game photo booth provided by innovative party photography company, Polite In Public.
Paul Mitchell The School Pasadena offered a braid bar and glitter dos and CAO Cosmetics was on hand with free mini-makeovers. Partygoers also availed themselves of stunning, empowering Goddess Beads from Turquoise + Salt.
Guests danced to the beats of DJ Kid Fish while staying energized with savory kale and avocado tacos, short rib sliders, and delectable homemade donuts. On the sweet side, attendees enjoyed My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream in an array of flavors such as Ripe Strawberry, Sweet Mango, and Mint Chocolate Chip. Love Swirls cotton candy in the shapes of Tyra and ANTM logo icons looked almost too good to eat.
Guests sipped on custom cocktails throughout the night, including the ICON, ANTM, SMIZE, and TY-OVER. These delicious libations featured Gypsy Vodka and Petoskey Stone Gin. Wine lovers could choose from a selection of Santa Margherita Fine Wines. There were plenty of non-alcoholic options, too. The Tyra and Fierce custom mocktails were tasty alternatives to the mixed drinks. Hydration was powered by AQUAhydrate.
The ANTM mobile game is free and currently available for download on the iOS and Android stores beginning May 18th.
