Tina Dean Designs, also known as “TDD”, is an upscale eco-accessories company that re-purposes plastic bags and VHS tape into plastic yarn, a material known as plarn. Based in Stafford, Virginia, TDD was founded by textile artist/designer, Tina Dean Allen. Tina has taken plastic to a new level through crochet and fusing, and is becoming recognized in the eco world having recently been named one of White Apricot’s favorite new brands.

TDD is currently focusing on fusing plastic into couture clutches. These clutches are both trendsetting and fashion forward. Collaboration with other artists is an important element to the inspiration of TDD’s design process. Our clutches will feature hand sculpted design elements from artist Shannon Moyer-Szemenyei of Sweet Stella’s. Tribal and vintage inspirations are being added to the mix.
