Cash for your car

Located in the heart of West Hollywood, fresheast is a new fast-casual restaurant concept that incorporates vibrant flavors from Asia into a guilt-free menu comprised of healthy, organic ingredients. No matter what your preference, fresheast has something for everyone, including a number of options for the kiddos.

With a variety of menu items, fresheast offers the convenience and flexibility of mixing and matching anything on the menu so you get a customized made-to-order meal every time! Not to mention, that owner Ravine Hiranand has designed fresheast to specifically showcase the restaurant’s commitment to sustainability, including a building constructed of recycled woods, discounts offered to customers who arrive via bike or hybrid vehicle and plateware and utensils made from recyclable materials.

In addition, and great news for those on a budget, no menu item is priced above $12.95 (with portion sizes being quite generous).  “I wanted to bring the diversity of Asian cooking to American diners at a great price point, while educating them on healthy cooking and a healthy environment, which are two passions of mine,” Hiranand says.

Located at the intersection of Robertson and Santa Monica boulevards, fresheast is open for lunch and dinner daily and also offers daily happy hour specials from 4-7pm (50% off specific beers, wines and sakes with purchase of an entrée).

Fresheast’s Executive Chef, Jonathan Schwichtenberg, enjoys exploring the diversity of Asian cuisines while emphasizing healthy living and using the highest quality ingredients. All meats and seafood used at fresheast are sourced from certified natural purveyors; produce is sourced locally and organic (as much as possible) and all sauces, marinades and spice blends are made fresh in-house. Most dishes at fresheast are made without butter, salt and nuts; great news for those with allergies or dietary restrictions. In addition, separate pots and pans are used in the preparation of vegan dishes staying true to owner Hiranand’s mission that great tasting food need not be a compromise.

Fresheast’s menu is divided into Specialties and Bowls, which are served over quinoa or rice and paired with a selection of side soups and salads.  Among the Specialties are Tandoori Shrimp Salad, with Baby Green Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumber Dressing and Lentil Cracker, Five Spice-Glazed Organic Salmon, with Brown Rice and Asparagus; Palak Paneer, made with Spinach, Fenugreek Leaves, Paneer (Cheese or Tofu), Yogurt, and Red Lentil Dal; and Korean Chili Noodles, made with Somen Noodles, House Chili Sauce, Broccoli, Spinach, Tofu, Bean Sprouts, Red Leaf Lettuce, Cucumber and Kinchee.

Among the Bowl selections are Bulgogi (Korean Marinated, Barbecued Beef) with Fresh Vegetables from the Wok; Yakitori-Styled Grilled Jidori Chicken With Fresh Wok’d Vegetables and Yakitori Sauce, and Rogan Gosht (Indian Curry Lamb), made with Californian Lamb, Red Lentil Dal and cilantro.

For dessert, fresheast offers a selection of seasonal Sorbets, made to order with Fresh Fruit, Raw Sugar and Palm Sugar (flavors include Mango, Thai Basil, Rosa and Comice Pear).  Customers may also opt for a freshly squeezed juice from the Juice Bar, with varieties like Fresh Young Cocunut, the Melonade and the fresheast Juice.
