Carrera Sunglasses Escape Dazzles Celebrities at Chateau Marmont

Back by popular demand, the CARRERA Sunglasses Escape returned to Los Angeles to present its chic summer haven with brand new elements in place. The CARRERA Sunglasses Escape at the Chateau Marmont, held last weekend, was a part of a traveling multi-city “urban retreat” for tastemakers produced by The BMF Media Group.

Upon arriving at CARRERA Sunglasses Escape, LA’s bold and beautiful – such as Maria Menounos, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Mischa Barton and Rosario Dawson – were treated to an exclusive getaway with VIP attention among the breezy bungalows.

Guests were also treated to the latest CARRERA Sunglass collection, SOUL by Ludacris headphones, Venroy Australia’s fashionable and functional line of men’s board shorts, and a complimentary one month membership to DavidBartonGym.

No good party is complete without drinks. At the CARRERA Sunglass Escape, guests customized their drinks with six different flavors of MiO, a revolutionary liquid water enhancer, and sipped on specialty cocktails and beer from UV Vodka and Asahi Beer.

Rosario Dawson was ready to celebrate after a successful casting meeting when she arrived at Carrera Sunglasses Escape. Besides her nailing her audition, Rosario has some traveling to do – she and a fit Mischa Barton exchanged London travel tips as she picked up a handful of glowsticks for Burning Man as she exited.  While she celebrates at Burning Man, Rosario will be sporting stylish new Carrera shades and enjoying soundproof flights to London with her new SOUL by Ludacris headphones.

Speaking of other stars enjoying their Ludacris headphones, Jena Malone and her new boyfriend danced around the party rocking out with SOUL by Ludacris headphones and sampling every hors d’oeuvre that passed. Pirates of the Caribbean’s Vanessa Branch and her boyfriend were having so much fun they invited everyone to join them for an after party!

Actress Amy Smart and her HGTV fiancé Carter Oosterhouse were enjoying Carrera Sunglasses Escape at Chateau Marmont this weekend as they were discussing wedding plans. Though the lovebirds haven’t picked a honeymoon destination, Carter is hoping for some sun so he has a chance to test out his new Venroy Australia board shorts.

Hollywood knockouts Malin Akerman and Maria Menounos enjoyed some girl time while picking out some gifts including Carrera Sunglasses, Venroy Australia board shorts and MiO Liquid Water Enhancer.

Couples Retreat Encore

Though actress Malin Akerman showed up without her husband to Saturday’s Carrera Sunglasses Escape she turned it into a bit of a ”Couples Retreat” when actresses Jaime King, Jena Malone, Amy Smart, and Vanessa Branch each arrived with their significant other.  The Hollywood ladies styled their men with Carrera Sunglasses and Venroy Australia board shorts as they enjoyed live music and beverages from Asahi Beerand UV Vodka at the Chateau Marmont.

DJ Rumer Willis

Following Myles Hendrik, Ana Calderon and Chris Masterson, guests at this weekend’s Carrera Sunglasses Escape were surprised to see Rumer Willis sneak into the DJ booth.  The budding mix master looked the part as she arrived a few minutes early with nothing but her laptop and power cord in tow.   DJ Rumer snuck into the booth and got in the zone as she took off her jacket and danced around while hooking up her gear.  As her set wrapped, Rumer relaxed even more when Samantha Ronson rushed over to hug her and compliment her skills.  Rumer and the other DJ’s were thrilled to find exclusive gold SOUL by Ludacris headphones waiting for them in the booth, although petite Samantha traded hers for a pair of black and red that were a bit smaller.

Billy Zane Plus A Little One

When Billy Zane arrived at this weekend’s Carrera Sunglasses Escape, guests were surprised to see his plus one – new daughter Eva Katarina. Though he’s always been known for his fit physique, Billy seems to have stepped up his game by taking advantage of a new membership at DavidBartonGym.

 

While trying on sunglasses in the VIP suite, Amy Smart laughed out loud when she saw actress Peta Wilson walk in.  The look-a-like ladies laughed about how often they are mistaken for twins as Peta.  In true “sister” manner, Peta was a bit envious of Amy’s new pair of Carrera sunglasses and even asked to try them on several times as she debated which style she wanted for herself.  In the end, both ladies left happy and celebrated their new shades with a UV Vodka cocktail toast.
