It was a night of TV stars, celebrity hosts, VIP partygoers and America’s Best Dance Crews in one intimate Hollywood venue filled with bottle service, amazing vodka concoctions, and robot-inspired dance battles. On Sat. May 22, SVEDKA, the fastest growing vodka in the world, presented “R.U. Bot or Not?” Battle of the Bots at Wonderland.
The star-studded event was hosted by Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, and was emceed by Mario Lopez (“Extra”, “America’s Best Dance Crew”). His girlfriend and soon-to-be-mom, Courtney Mazza, also accompanied Lopez. The night catered to VIP partygoers, enjoying the “Alice in Wonderland” themed club refurbished with a SVEDKA vodka makeover.
Lights flashed and lounge tables were packed as attendees sipped on SVEDKA’s signature HOT_BOT and CELEB_U_BOT cocktails.
The array of beverages was accompanied by techno, pop and old school rap mixed by DJ Brent Bolthouse, the Founder and President of Bolthouse Productions. Partygoers were given full VIP treatment as they danced, and drank the night away.
The event was highlighted with a “Battle of the Bots” dance-off between MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” teams, Fanny Pak and Expressive Doubt, each represented and coached by a Kardashian sister.
“We’re so excited to be here,” Kim Kardashian said as she addressed the crowd of partygoers. With a bedazzled SVEDKA foam-finger in hand, she prepared for her team to showdown with her sister’s.
“Team Kim” aka Expressive Doubt battled Team Kourtney aka Fanny Pak to a cover of The Jackson 5’s “Dancing Machine.” Although each team gave impressive “bot-like” performances, an applause vote from the crowd clearly favored Kourtney Kardashian’s team, Fanny Pak.
“Let’s party with some good vodka tonight,” Lopez said as he concluded the emceed portion of the night.
E! Entertainment Television’s hit show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” was also on-site throughout the evening, filming the entire event for a future episode of the show.
SVEDKA is a Gold Medal winner at the 2008 Beverage Tasting Institute, San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Monde Selection in Brussels, Belgium, and the 2002 International Wine & Spirit Competition. Wine enthusiast vodka ratings score it above Ketel One, Absolut and Skyy.
The CELEB_U_BOTS cocktails consists of two parts SVEDKA vodka, one part lime, sugar and a splash of lemon juice. HOT_BOTs are two parts SVEDKA vodka, four parts cranberry juice, one part lime and a kick of chili powder. The drink there at the bottom is killer – the celebubot. So tasty.
These dance crews are both really good and really well known although expressive doubt is usually called heavy impact.
