Join with the JWCI Auxiliary as they host their Black Tie, 25th Annual Odyssey Ball featuring Sam Rubin of KTLA as the host of the evening. This soiree is the oldest and one of the most beloved traditions held to benefit the John Wayne Cancer Institute. This is the oldest, local charity tradition, held to benefit The John Wayne Cancer Institute.

The “Duke” award is presented to those who through their special service have made an extraordinary and lasting contribution to the fight against cancer and will be received this year by Lois Rosen. The “True Grit” award is presented to those individuals who have demonstrated through their body of work uncompromising integrity and commitment to the values of our great country. Previous honorees include Nancy Reagan, Larry King and Bonnie Hunt.

Special proceeds from this event will benefit Armando Giuliano, M.D. Chief of Science and Medicine and Frederick Singer, M.D. Director of the Endocrine Bone Disease Program at the John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John’s Health Center.

                        6:00pm- Cocktails and Silent Auction

                        7:30pm- Award Presentation Followed by Dinner and Dancing

The John Wayne Cancer Institute Auxiliary is a membership organization that takes great pride in supporting John Wayne Cancer Institute’s research physicians and scientists.

Having more than 800 members they have raised more than $15 million in support for JWCI’s cancer research projects, equipment, and surgical oncology fellowships.
