The Society of Young Philanthropists hosted their 2nd Annual Prohibition Poker Night on Oct 14th at Aqua Lounge in Beverly Hills. Guests enjoyed sipping complimentary champagne donated by Pink Dot and snacking on appetizers by Aqua Lounge while they ‘wheeled and dealed’ like high-rolling poker and blackjack professionals.

What is SYP?

The Society of Young Philanthropists (SYP), is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization designed to create a network of distinguished professionals by promoting philanthropic causes through charitable events. The goal of this organization is to offer an attractive and appealing opportunity for young professionals to contribute their resources and skills to charitable causes. Through these efforts, the Society of Young Philanthropists hopes to instill a commitment to philanthropy in the next generation of community leaders. The proceeds procured that evening went toward the Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firemen’s Fund. In the midst of all the fires in California, SYP gives assistance to the many firefighters and their families who are faced with personal difficulties and tragedies.
