At the recent Tony Awards in New York City, Lipton, who recently launched their new Rainforest Alliance Tea, worked with Playbill to make the Tonys’ edition out of recyclable paper and donated to Broadway Green Alliance for each celeb that left a “green” tip. It was really great to see how celebs are making small efforts to do big things! Some of the stars that came through were Liza Minnelli, Jane Fonda, Susan Sarandon, and more…

In between hosting duties at the Tonys, funny man Will Ferrell stopped by the SustainbiliTEA Bar where Lipton was serving up their new Rainforest Alliance Certified teas. Will shared how he’s going green, “I save over 100 gallons of water a year by never…and I mean never flushing the toilet!”

Her tip, “Put a plastic bag in your purse and re-use it at the grocery store.” One small way you can be green? Bypass your daily coffee shop visit for Lipton Rainforest Alliance Certified teas and a reusable mug.
