Valentine’s Day is usually a day reserved for all infatuated, smitten, and lovesick couples that flock by the hundreds to all the romantic and dimly lit restaurants where they can enjoy a few unnoticed smooches in peace. Unfortunately, where there are couples, there are also singles who no doubt get increasingly sickened by all the cutesy pet names and air kisses being thrown around. Fortunately, this year Avalon Beverly Hill’s Blue on Blue restaurant is offering an exclusive “My Bloody Valentine” happy hour-style menu on Friday, February 13th for all the individual’s who prefer to celebrate an “anti-valentines” day.

Guests of the intimate, yet high profile Blue on Blue restaurant can relish in a traditional 4-course dreamy dinner while dining beside Avalon Beverly Hills’ sparkling hourglass-shaped pool or while taking in the stunning mid-century décor. The special “My Bloody Valentine” menu commences at 3:00 P.M., which is the start of the regular “Kick the Blues” happy hour, and will stay open through closing until 11:00 P.M. Chef Scott Garrett will be offering specially created entrees categorized under “A Meat Lover’s Affair”, an exclusive Valentines Day onslaught to the menu. These variety of dishes, which go for $8 each or 3 items for $20, include deliciously delectable menu items such as Roasted Duck Teriyaki with cabbage and crispy noodles, Lamb Carpaccio with pequillo, Burrata and cornbread; and Chorizo Flatbread with mozzarella, green Chile and cilantro. Featured cocktails on the “Gulp” menu include:

Mary’s Bloody Ian Mix
(the “bloody” version of blue on blue’s classic “Ian’s Bloody Mary”)
Ian’s special blend of spices with your choice of fris vodka, fris cucumber dill infusion, or fris gazpacho infusion

On February 14th, the actual Valentines Day holiday, Chef Scott Garrett will offer patrons a scrumptious yet affordable dinner option with a 4-course menu priced at $65 per person, with an additional $35 per person complemented for wine pairings. The first seating reservation times are 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm and the second seating reservations are from 8:00 pm – 9:30pm. Interested guests also have the option of booking Blue on Blue’s special Valentine’s Day package including dinner and wine pairings for 2, a hotel room for the night, and all tax and gratuities included for $375, a savings of a whopping $200. Guests will be upgraded to a premium guest room based on availability.
