Her one of a kind designs have attracted the owners of the newly opened Jane Joe John Doe Boutique, who requested that a few of her pieces sell alongside those of Project Runway’s Leanne Marshall, Korto Momolu and Jerell Scott. “I feel very fortunate to have my pieces selling next to Project Runway’s winner and finalists, it’s an honor to have my work showcased alongside such talented individuals“ says Daisy.

The pieces in the Daisy Gonzalez collection provide a fun twist to sophisticated elegance, they are made to make a woman look and feel her very best. Her dresses include items such as feathered belts, flowers, and jewel-toned fabrics. “I want my designs to make women feel elegant and sophisticated, yet fun and sexy.”
One of her most recent acknowledgments includes being chosen the winner of the “Confessions of a Shopaholic Patricia Field Contest,” as the most fashion forward MySpace user. As the winner, Daisy will be flown to New York to be styled by the legendary stylist and costume designer Patricia Field. For Daisy, meeting Ms. Field is a dream come true, “I admire and respect her work so much, meeting her is a huge honor, I still cannot believe it.”
From making pieces for the Jane Doe John Doe Boutique, to flying to New York to meet, and be styled by the infamous Patricia Field, Daisy Gonzalez is definitely on the fast track to success. Her pieces have been an instant hit with some of the most recognizable names in the fashion industry, and she is only getting started.
