HannaStaying true to her word, singer, songwriter, and fashion entrepreneur Hanna Rochelle Schmieder (known by her fans as HANNA), “has always made it about the music.” The multitalented beauty captivated family and friends as she showcased collections from her successful clothing line Lyric Culture and sampled tracks from her new album “HANNA – Wound & Hypnotized” at the Gibson Showroom in Beverly Hills.

Staying true to my word, this was the first time I had heard HANNA’s music or seen her music-inspired clothing brand Lyric Culture. It has long been known that music and fashion go hand-in-hand, but never has one person unified the two like HANNA. In speaking with family and friends, it didn’t take long to realize that this is a confident woman with a clear musical message. Simply put, HANNA is a true beauty and talent whose unmistaken passion for music will only further propel her fashion and music career to greater success.

The Russian born talent has never been a stranger to the sounds of music. “Born into a family of classical musicians, HANNA began studying music at the age of three, and by the time she was 15, had traveled throughout Europe attending leading international music festivals with her family and immersing herself in diverse genres of music.”

Lyric Culture
For those readers unfamiliar, founded by HANNA, Lyric Culture is a “music-driven apparel company involving lyrical content on jeans, denim wear and accessories.” With exclusive deals with the major music publishing labels (Warner, EMI, Universal, Sony/ATV, and BMG to name a few) they have successfully secured the rights to utilize lyrics as made famous by: The Beatles, Janis Joplin, David Bowie, Marvin Gaye, The Bee Gees, Rod Stewart, Steppenwolf and many more.

Further perpetuating her commitment to fellow musicians, this unique fusion of music and fashion has created an entirely innovative revenue stream for songwriters in the form of royalty payments. With stylish collections titled Fever and Revolution, the song lyrics "harmonize" beautifully with sound fashion sense to create a truly unique strategy through which the wearer can express their musical love through fashion.

For those curious about that “light-bulb” moment where HANNA’s inspiration of Lyric Culture began, HANNA explained, “I was in the studio scribbling my lyrics on my torn jeans.” A concept as fundamental as was the apple falling on Sir Isaac Newton’s head, Lyric Culture is the million-dollar idea that you wished you had thought of first! HANNA – "Wound & Hypnotized"
With the past four years dedicated to building her Lyric Culture brand, “Wound & Hypnotized” is HANNA’s anticipated return to the studio. With her hit songs, “Do What You Want”, “Mystery Boy”, and title track “Wound & Hypnotized”, HANNA demonstrates her musical range through a series of heartfelt and self-reflective lyrics.

Her voice can be simply described as soothing and seductive. Singing from her heart HANNA’s lyrics resonate messages of love and heartache we can all relate. To the moments of infatuation like in “Wound & Hypnotized”; times of heartache as in “More Than You Know”; and joys of love as in “Forever and Ever”.
