Motorola Honored at The 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show

Motorola ROKR E8The 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show honored Motorola with six prestigious awards for their innovative new cell phones and accessories, and eight honorable mentions.
Four awards, including the award for CNET People’s Voice Award (based on nearly eleven thousand votes) went to the ROKR E8. Additional awards presented to the ROKR E8 include:
· The CNET Best of CES award in the Cell phones and Smartphones category, decided by the editors of CNET
· The Popular Mechanics Top 20 Products of CES – Editor’s Choice Award, decided by the editors of “Popular Mechanics” magazine
· The LAPTOP Magazine Best of CES 2008, decided by the editors of LAPTOP
Featuring breakthrough ModeShift technology, the ROKR E8 allows users to see only the buttons they specifically need in the moment while using the cell phone, music player or an imaging device.
The MOTOROKR S9 headset received the 2008 CES Best of Innovations Design and Engineering Award. This headset integrates a lightweight design and behind-the-head wearing style with Bluetooth enabled wireless stereo music and phone calls.
The Motorola T815, a Smartphone-Based Navigation System, which features MOTONAV, received the Bluetooth Special Interest Group Award. The RAZR2, MOTOPURE H12 Universal Headset (a noise reduction headset), MOTO Z8 (a kick-slider media monster), MOTOROKR T505 Bluetooth In-car Speakerphone and Digital FM Transmitter, and the MOTO Q 9h (the HSDPA smart device) all received honorable mentions from CES.
