The 12.1 effective megapixel D3 features Nikon’s new FX-format CMOS sensor and is almost the size of a 35mm film camera. With the fastest startup time, shortest viewfinder blackout time, and shortest shutter lag of any digital SLR camera, the D3 is the world’s fastest digital SLR camera in its class. It also has an Auto Focus and a Scene Recognition System.

The D300 is the most advanced DX-format digital SLR camera, with 12.3 megapixels and incredible agility. It includes a 3D Focus Tracking feature and two new LiveView shooting modes that allow users to frame a photograph using the camera’s high-resolution LCD monitor. In continuous bursts, the D300 can shoot up to 100 shots at full resolution. Also included is a self-cleansing sensor unit.Nikon D300, Nikon D3

All this took place amongst entertainment by DJ Big Joe from Scratch Academy, who was in attendance spinning some great tunes, and teaching the guests to spin as well. Big Joe let anyone interested come and take over the turn tables and assisted them in mixing and scratching dance records. Other music entertainment for the night was provided by Exacta, Joe Maz, Lorne and Rami Deejay.

Prince’s Mike Phillips blew the audience away with his incredibly talented saxaphone playing. If dancing and playing DJ got you thirsty, Nikon mixed their own signature "Digital" drink at the open bar on the sidelines. For the top of the line in digital photography, check out www.nikonusa.com to view models and pick up your own Nikon camera today.
