Cindy Margolis – The Ultimate Girl Next Door

Los Angeles native Cindy Margolis is a uniquely American success story. Following a meteoric rise to success in which she was crowned “Queen of the Internet” by Yahoo! Internet Life, she was inducted into the 2000 Guinness Book of World Records as the World’s Most Downloaded Woman. She has also been lauded as “Woman of the Year", "Top of the Net", "The Year’s Sexiest Celebrity," "Entrepreneur of the Year" and one of the Most Beautiful Women of our time in publications the world over, both in and out of cyberspace.

Despite Cindy’s best-known persona as the Most Downloaded Woman on the Internet – at one point she was downloaded 70,000 times in a span of 24 hours – her appeal reaches far beyond the World Wide Web. Cindy recently took time from her hectic schedule to accept a role as the new cover model for the 10th Muse comic book series and is also a producer on the project. Fans can look forward to her character, a modern-day daughter of Zeus, coming to the big screen as the series has been optioned as a major motion picture. Cindy is also working with the award-winning Gang of Seven Animation on a late-night animated series entitled Cindy BC (before computers), in which she plays the brilliant, sharp-witted and irresistibly sexy High Priestess. She is also an associate producer for the new animated children’s project, KOPS (Kids on Patrol.)

Cindy was recently named the first Official Celebrity Spokesperson for RESOLVE, the National Association for Infertility, and is one of E! Entertainment’s Ultimate Blondes, a member of VH1’s Hottest 100, and one of MOM Magazine’s Hottest Moms.

In March, the web goddess was named number one on Playboy Magazine’s Sexy 100 list, featuring the hottest celebrity women from the world of Playboy. Cindy beat out all other candidates and landed the cover of the highly coveted specialty issue. As the December 2006 Playboy Cover girl, Cindy posed for a purpose as a portion from all sales of her issue went to RESOLVE. High-profile fans such as Howard Stern, Kevin & Bean, Valentine on the Radio, and AskMen.com touted it as the best pictorial they have ever seen!

 

Still fabulous as ever at forty and upholding her reputation as the "Ultimate Girl Next Door", there seems to be no end in sight for one of People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People! As her fan base has grown to encompass more women than ever, Cindy’s latest projects have expanded to include areas that represent their voices. She is currently working on her first book, The Girlfriends Guide to Having a Baby When the Old-Fashioned Way Isn’t Working, a true story of her struggle with and eventual triumph over infertility. A strong proponent of children, women and animal issues, Cindy is always lending a hand to support many charitable events.
