Come celebrate the kick-off of L.A. Fashion Week with The New Garde: A Celebration of Innovative LA Fashion, sponsored by Kryolan Professional Makeup and Gen Art. The event will debut the Fall 2007 collections of three promising designers in fashion-forward presentations held at Ivar Studios.
Rather than a runway show, Alms, Hazel Brown and Mintee will showcase their designs on models in large-scale installations, created by renowned set designer Keith Greco (Cirque du Soleil, Emmy’s, Dave Navarro and Carmen Electra’s MTV wedding). And to complement the sets and fashions, Kryolan will be making all of the models beautiful with their professional-grade cosmetics.
The New Garde is the event that introduced the collections of Cosa Nostra’s Jeffrey Sebelia (winner of Project Runway) and Society for Rational Dress, and provides a first glimpse of LA’s most talented new designers.
