Want to see the latest and greatest films, before they arrive in theaters? This Spring, spend your evenings watching some of the season’s most anticipated and talked-about films in the comfort of the Writers Guild Theater, courtesy of UCLA Extension’s Sneak Preview course. The longest-running and most prestigious preview series in the nation, Sneak Preview screens new films before their release and provides unique, revealing discussions with the filmmakers behind the films.

Recent films and speakers have included Breach with writer/director Billy Ray; Amazing Grace with director Michael Apted; Children of Men with producer Marc Abraham; Blood Diamond with actor Djimon Hounsou; Babel with director Alejandro González Iñárritu; and Little Miss Sunshine with directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris.

This spring, Sneak Preview will be hosted by John Anderson, writer and film critic whose work appears regularly in Newsday, Variety, Screen International and The New York Times.

Sneak Preview: Contemporary Films and Filmmakers takes place Wednesday, 7-10 p.m., April 11-June 13, at the Writers Guild Theater, 135 S. Doheny Drive, Beverly Hills.  The course fee is just $160.  For more information, call         310-825-9064            or visit www.uclaextension.edu/sneakpreview.
