Why not grab the family and friends and gear up for a picnic?! Mario Lopez gives us some ‘insider tips’ on making the best out of your summer picnic! Grab an assortment of meats and cheeses in order to make delectable sandwiches or wraps. Jazz them up with hot sauce, which serves as a nice complement, and last but not least be sure to pack a cool, refreshing beverage such as Lipton Iced Tea in order to complete your perfect picnic. Don’t forget to pack the essentials and choose vibrant colors like yellow and orange to play up the fun summer season!

On the other hand you could play host yourself and host a happy hour. NYC mixologist Scott Fitzgerald has deemed the ‘White Citrus Sangria’ as his ‘summer mocktail’ or as Lopez says try the ‘adult version’. To create this decadent, refreshing beverage you’ll need:

-1 bottle Lipton Diet Green Tea with Citrus

-1-3/4 cups white grape juice

-1/4 cup orange juice

-1 orange, sliced

-1 lemon, sliced

-1 lime, sliced

Mix the above ingredients in a glass pitcher, add ice and enjoy the ‘taste of summer’.

“Nothing allows you to feel the taste of summer more than a cool, refreshing Lipton Iced Tea. Lipton Iced Tea was a staple in the Lopez house growing up.” says Lopez. “In San Diego it was always summertime so it was our ‘go to’ refreshment drink. Now that I have my own family, it’s always stocked in my fridge.”

As summer rapidly approaches and we clear our closets of our winter gear, it’s time to see what this ‘hot’ season has to offer. Remember to ‘keep it simple’ and ‘keep it cool’ this summer with a refreshing Lipton Iced Tea! For additional summer inspiration along with some great recipes, tips, and more- be sure to check out the ‘Taste of Summer’ contest on the Lipton Facebook page.
