GBK is pleased to announce the first Date for the Cure Gala benefiting Susan G. Komen, Los Angeles County. The Gala in collaboration with Charity Buzz and the Miss Universe Organization has created the perfect way to spend Valentine’s Day weekend. The night allows a few lucky guests to win a date with reigning Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, reigning Miss USA Nana Meriwether along with a few others, all for a good cause.

The event will take place at the Sheraton Universal on February 16, 2013. Tickets can only be bought through Gilt City L.A., who has partnered with Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Los Angeles County. Being apart of the event will allow guests to donate to a worthy organization by raising funds and bringing awareness to breast cancer research and treatment.

Actor and comedian Kevin Nealon will host the sophisticated night of dinner and great entertainment. The night will be filled with many surprises and include delicious cocktails, dinner and musical entertainment. Special dance performances will also be held to make for an even more entertaining event.

X-Factor’s Season 1 runner up Josh Krajcik and American Idol contestant Paul McDonald will serenate guests at the event with their live musical performances. Peta Murgatroyd from Dancing with the Stars will present guests with a special dance number. The exciting event will also host a fashion show by A. Ché Swimwear which will feature Miss California USA Mabelynn Capeluj, Miss California Teen USA Cassidy Wolf and Miss District of Columbia Allyn Rose. Other beautiful women attending will include Miss USA 2011 Alyssa Campanella, Miss USA 2009 Kristen Dalton, and Miss USA 2005 Chelsea Cooley Altman. The night will also feature special appearances by reigning Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, reigning Miss USA Nana Meriwether and Cheryl Burke from Dancing with the Stars.

Date for the Cure is an organization created to showcase events that help raise money for important breast cancer programs.
