About Required Flare’s Founder
RequiredFlare.com was founded by self-proclaimed accessory-fiend, Sai De Silva. While she has always had an appreciation for expressing oneself by adorning accessories, she never had plans to enter the fashion industry (aside from earning $1 for each strand she would successfully bead for her aunt as a little girl). Sai actually went on to study Pre-Med Biology and planned to become a doctor. Once she realized the medical field wasn’t for her, Sai reassessed her future and decided to go into fashion working with acclaimed designer, Alberta Ferretti.
After a few years in the industry, Sai realized there was a lack of online retailers offering uniquely designed jewelry at affordable prices. She decided to fill this void by creating a shopping destination where women can find accessories that inspire individuality.
De Silva says, “Accessories have an amazing way of expressing your personality.
