LA’s The Place:  Describe what to expect with a visit to Lashfully.

Liv Contreras:  Immediately upon walking into any of our chic beauty lounges, you are surrounded by beautiful surroundings, a fun feminine atmosphere and interesting people.

LATP:  What do you think sets you apart from others who offer lashes?

LC:  We promote and believe in protecting your own natural lash health.  If lash extensions are applied improperly, it can cause damage to your own natural lash.  We do not put on an extension that is too heavy because that causes too much stress to your own lash.

LATP:  What types of lashes do you apply?

LC:  We use a variety of brands and lashes—pulling from 70 different types– to create a customized look for each client.

LATP:  Many women are worried false lashes will look overdone or cheap, what does Lashfully do to prevent this?

LC:  We consult closely with the Client.  All of our work is customized and we use the finest materials and application process so the look is as natural or as glamorous as each client desires.

LATP:  How long do they last?

LC:  With care 6 + weeks.  With clients coming  in every two to three weeks for a 30-40 min. touch-up.

LATP:  How do they hold up with moisture, say from showers, steam room, rigorous workout or even moisturizers/cosmetics

LC:  After the initial 24 hours from the application, the extensions are water-resistant.  You can swim, shower, workout.  However oil based makeup removers, creams, conditioners will break down the bond of the adhesive.  Definitely no steam room.  There are many cosmetics – eye shadows, liners, etc. that are fine to use with extensions.  Even mascara but most women don’t use it anymore.

LATP:  How long does an appointment take to get a full set of customized eyelash extensions?

LC:  The first appointment is approx. 60 mins to 90 mins.

LATP:  Will the lashes/adhesive irritate the eyes? Do you offer different types of adhesive depending on sensitivity or allergic reaction?

LC:  We use a non-formeldahyde medical-grade adhesive.  Most of our clients have no reaction to this however we do also have a sensitive adhesive.

LATP:  What is Lash Concierge?

LC:  Lash Concierge is our in-home, office (or Hotel)  treatment.  We will come to you with everything needed to apply your lash extensions and other services available.

LATP:  What is the most outrageous pair of lashes you’ve applied to date?

LC:  Very Long individual Glitter lashes in hot Pink & Red!

LATP:  Is this something men would want to do as well?

LC:  Yes we have done appointments on men.  The look is very natural and just defines the eye more. Or more dramatic for Actors and performing arts.

LATP:  Do you offer consultations before deciding on what type of lashes to get? (Like trying them on or maybe a computer generated image that will show you what you will look like?)

LC:  We start every new lash extension appointment with a consultation to discuss the type of look you want to achieve and what would look best for your eye shape to fit in with your lifestyle, profession or just everyday look.

LATP:  What inspired you to start Lashfully?

LC:  We were inspiredto start Lashfully, because we saw a need for a place that specialized in the eye area and created beautiful looks that enhanced women’s own natural beauty.  We love how at the end of the appointment we hand you a mirror and your face lights up.  You walk out of Lashfully looking radiant and beautiful, but it’s still you only enhanced with a twinkle to your eyes
