With the tagline “live life comfortably,” BearPaw was founded in June of 2001 and is now sold in more than 15 countries, including the U.S., UK, Japan, Swede

n, Israel, Finland, Norway, Canada, Greece and South Korea, to name a few. It was started to give a comfortable yet fashionable option to footwear, using sheepskin as part of the design.

The Fall/Holiday 2011 Savvy Collection was unveiled in June, containing styles called Kenya II, Mara II, Serengeti II and Bristol II. The Kenya II is a 10″ Cheetah-printed cow suede with sheepskin and a wool-blend lining, in addition to a sheepskin foot bed, metal heel logo and charm.

The Mara II differs with its 12″ Ocelot -printed cow suede style but also consists of sheepskin and a wool-blend lining. The Serengeti type uses a zebra-printed cow suede, open on lateral side with a double-toggle closure. Lastly, the Bristol II differentiates by its modern floral embossed cow side details for decoration.

All of these designs are available in women’s sizes 5-12 in various colors (depending on style), including steel blue and black, maple and black, luggage and black, concord and black, and black and silver metallic. The MSRP of these boots ranges between $84.99 and $99.99.

Made for the everyday lady, BearPaw shoes are also loved by many a famous face, including “Dancing with the Stars” lead Karina Smirnoff, who has her own BearPaw boot—the Alyeska. Combining knit and suede materials, the Alyeska is available now. Smirnoff said of the boot: “My love of the BearPaw brand eventually developed into a relationship, which lead me to create the Alyeska Boot. I’m sure you’ll love them as much as I do.”
