Trident Vitality will not be on store shelves until 2011, but at its launch event, celebrities received a sneak peek of the new gum. On Dec. 8, Kelly Rutherford (“Gossip Girl”), Tyson Beckford (actor, model, TV host: “Make Me a Supermodel”), Doug Reinhardt (“The Hills”), Adrienne Bailon (“Cheetah Girls,” “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”), Kelenna Azubuike (New York Knicks) and music stylist, DJ Coleman Feltes joined Trident in celebrating the current line.
In three flavors—Vigorate™, Rejuve™ and Awaken™—Trident Vitality gives its chewers unique ingredients like Vitamin C, ginseng and white tea, adding an extra kick to the everyday gum.
The event included amusing activities and photo opportunities, with DJ Coleman spun tunes and debuted three beats created exclusively for Trident Vitality. Also on site were spa treatments and an oxygen bar featuring Vitality-inspired flavored smoothies.
From Cadbury, Trident Vitality is packaged in a full box with a blister pack—the box even “clicks” closed, preventing the pieces from falling out. Next year, the treat will be available in select stores for a suggested retail prices of $1.29 for a single-pack and $2.89 for a three-pack.
“Based on research, we found that many consumers were looking for unique new flavors that fit with their wellness lifestyle,” Kelly Bivens, Brand Manager, Trident told reports. “We always try to respond to consumers needs, and so far the response has been terrific. Vitality has tested as one of our best-tasting gums to date, and we are excited to bring it to our consumers nationwide.”
