Adobe releases the new Photoshop Elements 6
On September 24th, Adobe announced their newest improvements to their Photoshop Elements 6 software for Windows. Essentially the upgrades will make it easier for individual consumers to manipulate, organize and show off their photos.
Elements 6 offers new Photomerge? techonology, three different user levels, plus a new guided edit mode which walks novice users through the editing steps. These features combine with new shortcuts, and a new conversion tool to further streamline Photoshop’s existing photo editing software.
Have more fun with your digital photos
Not only does the new Photoshop make editing a snap, it will also help users organize and have more fun with their digital photos. Photoshop Elements 6 can create professional looking scrapbooks, photo books, slide shows, and interactive web galleries.
Based on information from consumers using their products, Adobe updated their software to make it even more user friendly and enjoyable for all user levels.
Photoshop Elements 6 offers convenient features such as:
Guided editing- Walks users through photo improvement techniques.
Group shot help- use Photomerge? technology to create composite group photos. Take several shots and use the best elements of each one to create the perfect group shot.
Image blending- Image blending technology lets users combine features from different faces, or to merge two different photos together into a single image.
Easy selections- Allows users to adjust specific parts of their photos with ease.
Panorama help- Stitch together several photos for the most amazing panorama results.
Black & white- Change color photos to dramatic black and whites.
Edit blemishes- Get rid of minor imperfections and blemishes. Use the clone tool to copy part of an image and then paste it elsewhere. A handy preview tool allows users to view their enhancements prior to saving them.
Enhanced photo book creation- Turn photos into a professional looking photo book.
Smart albums- Quicker and more efficient photo organization.
