The National Gen Art Fresh Faces Fashion Show Kicks off Multi-City Tour in San Francisco

2007 Gen Art Fresh Faces Fashion ShowThe Gen Art Fresh Faces Fashion Show has laid the groundwork for many up and coming young designers. With fashion stars such as Zac Posen, Rebecca Taylor and Chaiken getting their start at Gen Art, the 13 year event is gearing up to kick start the careers of new and exciting talents who will set the standard for future trends.

This national fashion show will kick off in San Francisco on August 22 at the Regency Center, with dates to follow during each official fashion week in New York (September 5th), Chicago (October 9th) and L.A. (October 12th).  Combined, this is the largest grouping of emerging designer shows in the United States.  Showcasing six cutting-edge fashion designers, the Fresh Faces fashion show will reflect the current state of the fashion world.

Immediately following the San Francisco show, an after party will be held in the Sutter Room at the Regency Center.  Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy cocktails and live entertainment while viewing the installations of three accessories designers.

The fashion designers featured this year will include Amy Sarabi (www.amysarabi.com), distilled (www.distilledclothing.com), Janezic (www.janeziccollection.com) PODOLL (www.podollcollection.com) and Sara Shepherd (www.sarashepherd.com).

Accessory designers will include amytorello (www.amytorello.com), bryna nicole (www.brynanicole.com) and NolaBella Jewelry (www.nolabella.com).

The Gen Art Fresh Faces Fashion Show in San Francisco will be sponsored by BOTOX(r) (www.botoxseveresweating.com), which is FDA-approved for the treatment of excessive underarm sweating when topical such as antiperspirants do not work. The after party will feature the following: BOTOX(r) Lounge and Tweeze man Lounge – Designed by Sillier; complimentary hats by Goring Brothers, massages from International Orange, glitter tattoos by The Magic of Safire and additional after party lounge décor by Line Rosette and entertainment by DJ Donovan

The VIP reception is a private reception for Gen Art Associate Producer and higher-level members, press, fashion industry VIPs, and VIP ticket holders. VIPs get early entry prior to the runway show, a private sneak peek at the fashion designs, complimentary hors d’oeuvres by Park Grill restaurant and complimentary lash applications by Shu Uemura while enjoying entertainment by DJ Fouzia.
