You may know John Melendez as the shy guy who sits in the corner chair on The Tonight Show and raises his coffee mug to Jay Leno at the open of the show. John Melendez, who has stuttered his way to the top stars in National Lampoon’s latest release, “One, Two, Many” which premiered at the Arclight Theatre April 10th. Hundreds of celebrities and VIP’s came out to support Melendez, who wore three hats, having written and produced it as well.

Past the college years, this National Lampoon flick tackles the new problems men face after graduating from a decade of partying, like how to get their girl to have a threesome.  Melendez, a married man and father of three, lives vicariously though his script and grants himself every man’s wish (and the leading role).

He finds his dream woman who doesn’t, as it just so happens, mind sharing him under the sheets.  His dream becomes a modern day parable proving the age-old cliché, be careful what you wish for, in a comic way.  Lampoon turns humor from slapstick to toilet dipped with Melendez, which makes the men roar with laughter and the women cringe!

John Melendez, Jay Leno at the "National Lampoon Presents One, Two, Many” is a real gem," said Tom Daniels, President of Worldwide Distribution for National Lampoon.  "John’s take on love in the twenty-first century results in a movie that is irreverent and humorous, yet surprisingly touching and thoughtful at the same time."

The film, directed by Michael DeLorenzo (New York Undercover), stars Melendez who shares his newfound spotlight with fellow unfamiliar faces, Bellamy Young (Dirty Sexy Money), Hudson Leick (CSI and Xena: Warrior Princess), and comic Jeffrey Ross (isn’t he on Martha Stewart?) and with cameo appearances from Mark Cuban (Dancing with the Stars) and JM J Bullock (Kissing Jessica Stein).

Melendez has posted his own insightful review of his movie on www.johnmelendez.tv: it’s “written, starring and produced by yours truly.  This is John’s write up of the movie. This is John’s write up of the movie. This is John’s write-up of the movie.”

Jennifer MurphyAfter 15 seasons on Howard Stern’s radio show, John Melendez, known to Stern fans as "Stuttering John," is entering his fourth-season on NBC’s "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." Besides being the show’s nightly announcer, Melendez is also involved in comedy sketches.  Melendez, who began with "The Howard Stern Show" as an intern in college, landed on the air almost immediately.  During his 15 seasons with the "shock jock," Melendez gained national acclaim for interviewing countless celebrities about the nature of their farts, safe sex practices, marital affairs and speech impediments, while stuttering all the way.  When he’s not being pummeled by angry celebrities, Melendez acts as a correspondent for Howard Stern and Jay Leno on man-on-the-street segments.
