Alfred Mann and Stevie WonderThe Millenium Biltmore Hotel was the place to be on Saturday evening, September 29th,  as Stevie Wonder received the Alfred Mann Foundation Innovation and Inspiration Award. Having made a huge mark on the world through his music after overcoming many odds and obstacles, Stevie was thrilled to receive such an honor. The music legend commented on the red carpet that he himself is inspired by people who use the things that have happened to them to make a difference in the world.

Actress, choreographer and producer-director Debbie Allen, decked out in a gorgeous black gown and special earrings that were given to her by Oprah Winfrey at the Legends Ball, hosted the beautiful black-tie gala.

Guests were delighted with a surprise performance by Mr. Wonder following his eloquent acceptance speech.
