LA’s The Place: How did your partnership with 100% Pure New Zealand Mānuka Honey come about, and what made it feel like the right fit for your brand of “food-first” wellness?

Margo/Rosa: It was such a natural fit for us, we already used 100% Pure New Zealand Mānuka Honey daily. We’ve always admired the power of Mānuka, so it was a no-brainer to help educate the rest of the world on this incredibly versatile ingredient that so many of us already have sitting in the pantry.

LATP: Many people see Mānuka honey as a superfood. In your daily routines, how do you personally use it for energy, immunity, and skin health?

M/R: We always use it as our go-to sweetener, it’s packed with so many immune-boosting benefits, so why wouldn’t you!? LATP: Margo, you’ve shared your recovery from chronic fatigue through real food – what were the most transformative shifts you made in your diet and mindset during that process?

Margo: For years I had health professionals telling me there was nothing I could do for my CFS. Then I met a woman in California who introduced me to gut health and that completely changed everything. From that point, I made a real effort to put plants first. Within three months, my CFS had pretty much disappeared. The biggest shift for me was realising it didn’t take expensive supplements or complicated treatments. It was simply about eating more fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, and good-quality meat in moderation. I also had to change my mindset, to stop looking for quick fixes and start trusting that real, simple food could actually heal my body. I’d completely underestimated the power of plants.
